The History of Engelhard<\/h2>\n

Engelhard Corporation<\/strong> was founded in 1902<\/strong> by Charles W. Engelhard Sr. in Newark, New Jersey. Originally specializing in platinum refining, the company steadily expanded into gold, silver, and industrial precious metals throughout the 20th century.<\/p>\n

By the 1970s<\/strong> \u548c 1980s<\/strong>, Engelhard had become one of North America’s leading precious metals refiners. During the precious metals boom of that era, the company produced a wide variety of investment-grade bullion bars in numerous sizes and styles, including both cast (poured) and minted designs.<\/p>\n

Engelhard was renowned for its strict refining standards and became one of the most trusted names among bullion investors. Its products were distributed throughout North America, Australia, and other international markets, with each refinery producing bars featuring unique logos, serial number formats, and design variations.<\/p>\n
